Reggie Hunt, Saskatchewan Roughriders, #9, 6'0", 220 lbs, Texas Christian
2002: Started 18 games at WILL linebacker…starting linebacker in East Semi-Final…made CFL debut in week 1…had seven defensive tackles in weeks 8 and 9…picked up nine defensive tackles in week 11…had team and season high ten defensive tackles in week 15…had four defensive tackles, one quarterback sack, and one interception in week 16...
SEASON STATS: Team high 89 defensive tackles, fourteen special teams tackles, one interception and three quarterback sacks.
2001: Played in 10 games with Scottish Claymores in NFL Europe…registered two interceptions, 30 defensive tackles, and four forced fumbles.
COLLEGE: Spent four seasons at Texas Christian University…earned all-WAC honours as safety and kick-returner in senior season…ended TCU career with 271 defensive tackles, three interceptions, and seven forced fumbles…holds TCU single season record with kick return average of 34.1 yards in senior season.

REGGIE HUNT is with the Saskatchewan Roughriders as a starting linebacker. As the CFL uses wider pitches Reggie is playing at linebacker and the fans seem to like him so far. "The Reaper" is #9 this season.

Surprise Hero Rescues Chargers

Hunt return sets up victory in overtime; Brees solid in debut

MIAMI -- The Chargers were trying to arrange their rotation for kick returners Wednesday at practice when Reggie Hunt's name came up.

Running backs coach Ollie Wilson turned to Hunt and in all seriousness asked: "Have you ever done this before?"
